Meetings
with sales and customers
what
does an aws solutions architect do
As
an AWS Solutions Architect, your work will be about just that: solution design.
Therefore, a part of your days will be dedicated to meeting with sales and / or
customers. These could be in-person meetings or participating in conference
calls so that you can learn about problems and needs. It depends on the company
you work for and your exact role within the company. Some AWS solution
architects focus more on products and not customers. Although most work to help
design solutions for customer problems.
The
work you do for customers will also depend on where you work and what your
businesses are, as well as where the customer is in the AWS adoption tier. They
may be in the early stages, so you're doing high-level interviews, or later or
even during implementation. All of this comes into play.
